Pol Pot’s Chief Henchmen Face Genocide Charges

A verdict in the genocide trial of Khmer Rouge leaders Nuon Chea (pictured) and Khieu Samphan has been scheduled for November 16, 2018.

FAR EAST CORRESPONDENT — Charges of genocide have been pressed against surviving leaders of the Khmer Rouge by prosecutors at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) as the tribunal enters its eighth year with further prosecutions in sight.
