Studio Bomborra showcases video, audio and the written word produced by cameramen, photographers, artists and correspondents working in Southeast Asia and further afield for international and local broadcasters and publishers.
Registered in Hong Kong as Bomborra Productions in 2008, it was initially founded three years earlier as an online photo library by Australian journalist
Luke Hunt, Hong Kong-based British editor
Diane Stormont (dec) and the South African reporter and photographer
Robert Carmichael.
Contributors include think tanks with an angle to grind, young journalists looking for a launch vehicle, expats with a worthy opinion and award-winning journalists. Correspondents have also worked for many of the world's great publications where copyright varies, as such this site often provides links to the original source in addition to original and reprinted works.
Throughout the years Bomborra has also worked in collaboration with artists thus we've added a separate channel for the sale of their work.
